2.3.1材料干燥
干燥是所有工程塑料加工的前期准备工作。原料中含有水分时经加热慢慢气化,与熔融的物料产生水解反应。如聚酰胺吸水后在酸或碱的催化作用下,将引起酰胺键的水解,其结果导致物理力学性能下降;聚酯材料中的端羧基遇水后断裂降解,粘度下降;聚碳酸酯材料的氢键水解后使分子量降低。不同高分子材料中的水分子及低分子物质升温融解后形成游离体,放出甲酸、酯类、丙酮、甲醛、乙醛、一氧化碳、二氧化碳等气体,表观现象是塑料开始变色,强度急剧下降。只有在充分干燥彻底的原料加工才能体现塑料原有的综合性能。
干燥条件取决于生产单位的现有能力,推荐采用真空负压干燥,真空度96Kpa、干燥效果好、速度快、干燥均匀;在条件不具备的情况下,采用常压热风干燥,干燥效果较好。
